As a web developer, Emily builds clean, efficient code that helps our clients’ websites run smoothly. And just as important to Emily? Keeping their clients’ needs at the center of every web development decision.

Her coding journey began in middle school, making simple HTML profile pages. “After discovering the Interactive Media concentration at James Madison University’s School of Media Arts & Design, I knew it was the perfect fit for my goals.”

Following graduation, Emily spent nine years at a boutique marketing agency, where she wore many hats in development, design, social media, and branding before becoming the lead developer.

What she loves most about working at Threshold Media? “The collaboration – it’s like being part of an orchestra creating art together!”

When she’s not coding, you can usually find Emily renovating her house with her husband, Ryan, putting her design and technical skills to work with DIY carpentry projects. She also loves planning annual winter trips to Florida with her mom, dreams of visiting Paris, and has her eye on someday designing her forever home on her family’s farm.
