Andrew Hickman

Full-Stack Web Developer

Andrew Hickman

It’s a superpower in the tech world to excel in both front-end and back-end website development, from the visual design interface to data storage and processing behind the scenes. Fortunately, we’ve found that in Andrew, our Full-Stack Web Developer.

For our clients, Andrew translates their vision into a language one’s computer can understand, ensuring seamless user experiences and gracefully resolving bugs and errors across a website.

His journey into web programming began in the early 2000s, during the era of dial-up internet and AOL Instant Messenger – a time when the digital world was still blossoming.

“I started by using a unique IDE and programming language to create small computer games, which I proudly hosted on my self-built website,” he says. After high school, he pursued Communications at Clarkson University, where he got his first taste of just how far the web had come since his early days.

He honed his skills in marketing and WordPress development when he collaborated on a large wholesale produce market in Upstate NY. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, he immersed himself in an intensive coding bootcamp specializing in web development with full-stack JavaScript – which solidified his passion and expertise in the field.

Andrew’s unique background in both WordPress and full-stack JavaScript gives him the tools to create distinctive and immersive online experiences for our clients.

What he loves most about his work at Threshold Media? “I deeply value the genuine connection and camaraderie I feel with the team. I felt welcomed and appreciated from day one.”

An avid piano player, Andrew composes his own songs and hopes to release a piano music album one day. Other hobbies include building mechanical robots powered by OpenAI API and Raspberry Pi single-board computers.
