Digital Media Specialist

Ana Maltez

When it comes to social media, change is the only constant. In her role as Digital Media Specialist, Ana helps our clients navigate the ever changing landscape and create entertaining and educational content to share across platforms.

“Clients often come to me with a tangled sticky tape of ideas,” she says. “I help them organize and expand on their ideas, untangling the tape right alongside them.”

Ana left her home country of Nicaragua for the U.S. in 2019 with a strong base of marketing education and experience – and an eagerness to take Northern Virginia by storm.

“I’ve worked alongside big and small brands to help them find their voice, personality, and purpose – and more importantly, share those with the world through compelling social media content,” she says.

The connection Ana shares with our clients is what stokes her passion for her work. “At the end of the day – after hours of meetings, photoshoots, edits, and more – it all comes down to people… what you have learned from and shared with them.”

“I want to continue bringing visions to life for the purposeful organizations and businesses I work with,” she says. “It makes me feel like I’m part of something bigger than myself.”

What she loves most about her work with Threshold Media? “I get to meet people from all backgrounds and places,” she says. “And I enjoy the flexibility, partnership and trust of my teammates and leaders.

When she’s not working, Ana enjoys many other creative pursuits including painting, drawing, writing, baking and photography, along with reading, travel, and spending time outdoors. She has also become an “accidental foodie” – no doubt due to her fiancée, a culinary scientist and chef!

Travel also ranks high on Ana’s list. On her bucket list are: returning to Nicaragua to visit friends and family she hasn’t seen in years; seeing the Northern Lights; and living for a month at a time in places like New York City, Denmark, Italy, and Costa Rica.
